The leaves of Drosanthemum giffenii are found in pairs at or near the stem tips that have become wiry on this plant. The leaves are short and stubby, triangular in cross-section. The inner leaf surface is flat, the outer deeply keeled. They may become 7 mm long.
In picture the leaves are pale green to yellowish. The bladder cells covering their surfaces are visible in the photo (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; iSpot).
