The tweekleurporseleinbos (bicolour porcelain bush), as Drosanthemum bicolor is commonly known in Afrikaans, is a winter rainfall region vygie or mesemb found in the western parts of the Little Karoo.
The succulent leaves on the multiple erect branches have conspicuously shiny cells that glitter like dew, characteristic of the genus. The daisy-like flowers have maroon, red-tipped petals, yellow on the basal parts.
Flowering happens in spring (www.plantzafrica.com).
