Description

Veltheimia bracteata or forest lily is a bulbous plant that produces a dense raceme of tubular flowers in mid-winter or spring. The flower colour varies among pink hues, as well as an occasional greenish-yellow form.

A revision of the genus has seen V. undulata and V. viridiflora disappear into V. bracteata (www.plantzafrica.com).
