Image information

Description

The shiny, evenly toothed leaves of Scolopia mundii are lush on these branches. The cream-coloured leaf midribs are clearly visible; the four to six lateral veins, spreading and in-curving on either side of it, not so much. Short leaf petioles are also visible, although not red as sometimes seen. The leaf tips are at least in some cases more attenuating than tapering (Coates Palgrave, 2002).
