Description

This profusely flowering Adenium swazicum plant has a deeper flower colour than sometimes seen. It grows in the grass under a tree in the Kruger National Park where it was photographed in January.

The petal lobes are wavy, particularly around the margins and there are variable gaps between these lobes on different flowers borne by the plant (Smith and Crouch, 2009; Onderstall, 1984).
