Image information

Description

The yellow Rafnia schlechteriana flower-shape exhibits its Fabaceae family connection clearly.

The narrow calyx lobes often out of sight may be as long as the corolla tube. The banner petal is pointed, its lateral margins rolled under. The wing petals cover the blunt keel. The flower is from 11 mm to 15 mm long.

The two upper leaves next to the flower are initially also yellowish (Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
