Image information

Description

Already dried out here, the flowerheads of Pentzia dentata grow in flat-topped clusters at stem-tips. The disc florets are yellow; there are no ray florets. Each fragrant flowerhead becomes about 5 mm in diameter.

Flowering happens from winter to early summer (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; http://pza.sanbi.org).
