Description

Lopholaena coriifolia is a strong competitor in its habitat. Its seed distribution counts as one of its survival strengths. So does the semi-succulent grey-green foliage in the harsh sun of its geographical distribution.

Apart from in South Africa this plant also occurs in Zimbabwe, where it has been described in the area of the Cleveland Dam near Harare. The common name it has there, small-leaved fluff-bush, is quite apt (http://www.zimbabweflora).
