Dimorphotheca cuneata, the bosmagriet in Afrikaans is a rounded shrublet up to 1m tall. The soft green leaves are sticky from glandular hairs that grow on them. The leaf is wedge-shaped with toothed and sometimes lobed margins.
The flowerheads have yellow florets on the central discs and white ray florets with coppery lower surfaces around them. The spring blooming follows winter rain (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; Manning, 2009; www.plantzafrica.com).
