Description

The leaves of Diastella divaricata subsp. divaricata are elliptic with rounded tips, nearly stalkless. They overlap on the stems, when they are not too far apart on the reddish stems. Leaf margins are entire, finely hairy and quite red in new growth.

This plant was seen on Table Mountain in December (Manning, 2007; Bean and Johns, 2005; iSpot).
