Image information

Description

The pair of Pelargonium echinatum upper petals are bigger than the lower three, their purple markings stronger. The oblong to obovate petal shape is characterised by some squareness and notching of the petal tips.

The green sepals and reddish pedicels are faintly hairy. The flowers were seen in August near Springbok (Le Roux, et al, 2005).
