The straight, central and lateral lobes of the narrowly lobed Pelargonium denticulatum leaf are channelled and veined. The veins resembling rivers and rivulets are key leaf topography, long and narrow like the map of Chile. Marginal toothing has semi-random angularity and curvature between and among big and small occasional spikes, unlike the map of Chile.

No blade parts develop far from the core arterial network. The lower surfaces are paler green than above (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015).
