Image information

Description

Seen from behind, the Pelargonium abrotanifolium flower shows the colour of the upper tepal markings also on the outside.

In the fully open flower the narrowly pointed sepals are half as long as these petals. The sepal behind the upper petals is erect, while the others recurve extravagantly.

There are tiny bracts where peduncle meets pedicels (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
