Description

Euphorbia evansii is normally a small tree, but can grow to 10 m in height. It occurs naturally in the eastern parts of Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces and is known as the Lowveld euphorbia.

The very spiny, light green leaves hold an attraction for many gardeners who can successfully grow it if they reside in the warmer climate regions. The greenish yellow cyathia appear in spring.
