Description

How much skill does someone with green fingers need to achieve this effect in his garden design? Pelargonium, moss and lichen cohabit in partial shade on this rock just outside the town of Caledon.

Much has been planted and skilfully landscaped in the Caledon Wildflower Garden, but this is part of the natural vegetation verging on the fulltime gardeners’ efforts. A path allows one to get here and serves to keep many spots like this free from being trampled or “developed”.

How many people live in Caledon that visit or want to visit Kirstenbosch, but have never walked here in their own free entry garden?
