Description

Protection is provided by the hardy shrubs that brave the full year's harsh seasons. This harshness is ducked by many of the seasonal flowers, escaping into a dormant phase. They appear when it is opportune to show one's face and wait in seed form when things get too rough.

The perennial shrubs provide shelter against the elements, contributing to the survival of some delicate, small or even rare species. Look out for the shy ones under the bushes.
