Image information

Description

Zantedeschia pentlandii, the yellow calla lily or arum lily grows in Mpumalanga in Sekhukuniland. There is even an arum lily festival in Roossenekal in their flowering season around November.

They normally have dark green leaves without spots, while Z. elliottiana, Z. jucunda and Z. albomaculata do have such spots. Hybridization and cultivars abound as the genus has provided garden plants since the 17th century, now distributed world wide.
