Image information

Description

The alternate leaves of Monopsis debilis are sessile (stalkless), tending to spiral up the soft stem, sometimes veering to one side of it. The leaf-shape is narrowly elliptic, tapering to acutely pointed tips. The margins are sparsely toothed, the teeth in picture sharply angular. Basal leaves become about 5 cm long, stem leaves only 3 cm (Manning, 2007; Le Roux, et al, 2005; Eliovson, 1990; iNaturalist).
