Image information

Description

The golden yellow corollas of Crotalaria humilis flowers have rounded banner petals over wings that fold in, partly concealing the shorter, angled and beaked keel between them. The banner is notched to mildly indented at its tip and pleated down the centre with slightly curved lines parallel nearer the base. The corolla is 17 mm long and 23 mm wide.

The stamens occur in two forms, joined in a tube slit along the top (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
