Description

The flowers of Crabbea acaulis are two-lipped and funnel-shaped. The tube is longer than the spreading lobes. Flower colour is white to cream or lilac. Yellow markings appear near the corolla centre.

Flowering happens in summer. This plant was photographed at the foot of the Magaliesberg near Hekpoort in January (Van Wyk and Malan, 1997; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000).
