Description

When the Annesorhiza altiscapa yellow buds are still closed, they end in elongated, pointed tips as seen here.

Many florets will soon be open about simultaneously in the rounded umbels. This should make pollinator visits worthwhile as each floret alone cannot have that much to offer (Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
