Description

Amsinckia menziesii is an exotic annual, a weed from North America, reaching heights to about 30 cm. It grows in Namaqualand and further in the winter rainfall region.

The plants are often found in disturbed places. This one was seen on an abandoned field near Vanrhynsdorp (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
