Image information

Description

Grewia rogersii leaves are velvety white on their lower surfaces. The yellowish midribs and ascending lateral veins are prominent on this side. The marginal leaf toothing is variable in size and angularity.

The oblique leaf bases in picture tend to be shorter on one side, wider on the other but this feature is not consistent, while imbalance of the leaf-base is.

The species resembles G. bicolor but G. rogersii has more prominent net-veining (Coates Palgrave, 2002; Schmidt, et al, 2002; iNaturalist).
