Image information

Description

The fine, whitish net-veining upon Tarchonanthus littoralis leaves is sometimes conspicuous, even more so than the lateral veins. The midribs are clear to see, here also some lateral veins ascending towards the margins.

The fruits in which the seeds are well covered by white wool, have brown style and corolla tube remains protruding from the white covering (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; iSpot; http://pza.sanbi.org).
