The leaves of Nemesia versicolor are opposite, here growing on reddish stalks. Stalk length (or even presence) is variable.
The leaf-shape is narrowly lanceolate, the tips either angled or rounded. The margins, here entire and rolled under, are sometimes toothed. The leaf colour is dark green, sometimes slightly shiny. The blades are somewhat hairy, mainly on top (Le Roux, et al, 2005; Eliovson, 1990; JSTOR; iNaturalist).
