Image information

Description

The Lampranthus reptans bud on its cylindrical pedicel in picture is well-rounded and succulent. Two of its five sepal lobes are much longer than the other three, tipped pink-purple with similar colouring along parts of the lower margins.

Younger leaves and the bud surface are pale green-grey, the older leaves darker with conspicuous whitish dots sparsely scattered upon them (Manning, 2007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; iNaturalist).
