Image information

Description

The long-stalked flowers of Lampranthus reptans grow solitary from stem-tips and leaf axils. They are white with yellow centres or altogether yellow as the one in picture. The narrowly oblong petals with pointed tips grow in about two whorls. Numerous yellow stamens are present.

Flowering happens in winter to midspring (Manning, 2007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; iNaturalist).
