Image information

Description

The flowers of Ipomoea magnusiana grow solitary or in groups on long hairy stalks.

They are small and pink, closing at noon. Flower diameter is from 12 mm to 25 mm, the tube 25 mm long. The calyx lobes taper to acutely pointed tips.

Flowering happens from late spring to autumn (Pooley, 1998; Van Wyk and Malan, 1997; iNaturalist).
