Image information

Description

This young leaf fan of Glottiphyllum depressum is already angled in an ascending or later maybe decumbent position. The leaf pairs growing from the centre of the branch is unequal in size and shape.

The leaf surfaces are smooth and irregularly shaped, but an apical hook on the bigger one is not yet fully developed here. Leaf translucence in this plant living in cultivation is enhanced by window-like mottling (Frandsen, 2017; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010).
