Description

The simple, entire-margined Diosma prama leaves without stalks angle up. The angles vary from nearly adhering to the stem to spreading widely.

Alternate to spiralling, the leaf overlap on the visible branches varies from well-spaced to crowded.

The upper stems remain cream for a short while, before turning red slightly lower down. Old stems near the plant base are leafless, grey and woody, covered in grey bark (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist).
