Image information

Description

A profusion of flowers covered much of this much-branched Cheiridopsis denticulata plant growing north of Springbok during early August. In this case the petals are apricot at their tips and white at the base, apart from an old flower bleached white.

The outer petal surfaces are deep pinkish purple (Smith, et al, 2017; Manning, 2009; Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
