Image information

Description

Ficus natalensis grows in the eastern parts of South Africa as the name suggests and northwards into central Africa. It may reach a height of 30 metres and develop a broad flat crown that gives it a striking appearance.

This tree grows fast and may strangle another tree that had sheltered it when it was a seedling.
