Description

Berkheya fruticosa can be a large, much-branched shrub as this one seen flowering south of Vanrhynsdorp in August. Vigorous growth has occurred in the dense foliage of the bush after winter rain. Fruticosa (Latin) means bushy (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
