Description

The golden spurge or geel melkbos (Afrikaans) is a multistemmed shrub with a wide distribution in southern Africa and throughout big parts of Africa. Poisonous to many animals, it is eaten by steenbok and klipspringer, while pollination is shared among many kinds of insect.

This plant was photographed near Graaff-Reinet.
