Image information

Description

The dull green to whitish fruits of Euphorbia maleolens are obtusely lobed, the lines separating the lobes often reddish brown. The fruit pedicels are thick, greener than the fruits in the photo. The fruit dimensions are about 5 mm by 6 mm.

There are still style remains persisting at fruit tips.

The smooth seeds ripening inside are ovoid, truncated at the base with pointed tips (Germishuizen and Fabian, 1982; iNaturalist; JSTOR; http://www.llifle.com).
