Image information

Description

The leaves of Erica walkeri grow spiralling densely around the slender stems. The leaf is long, thread-like and keeled, curving in to its tip. The pale green to yellow-green leaves overlap in a neat cylindrical shape around the upper stems. Lower stems are bare, grey and woody (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; JSTOR; iNaturalist).
