Image information

Description

Erica plukenetii may also be pale pink as in this photo taken on Hoy Koppie in Hermanus during May. The leaf shape is a bit straighter than sometimes seen, although still mostly incurving.

The sepals are small at the back and no bracts can be discerned in the picture. The exserted brown anthers and a still longer style are visible. The corolla sometimes has dark colouring on the lobes at its tip (Baker and Oliver, 1967; Le Roux, et al, 2005).
