Image information

Description

The leaves of Erica mammosa grow in fours or scattered upon the hairy branches. Becoming erect on angled branches like the one in picture, the straight leaves mostly spread around the stems.

They are about linear to faintly lance-shaped, triangular in cross-section from a slight keel. There is a pointed tip, hardly a stalk. Leaf length is from 6 mm to 10 mm (Manning, 2007; Baker and Oliver, 1967).
