Image information

Description

There is very slight curvature in the sticky tubes of these Erica discolor flowers. Their pale yellow tips are typical, while flower colour varies from pink to dark red and white on the main, back part of the corolla.

The pedicels are hairy, the leaf-like calyx discoloured. The flowers grow in stem-tip clusters. Flowering happens from midsummer to early autumn (Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984).
