Crassula fallax branches at the base and produces pale green oblong to obovate leaves with rounded tips. The leaves are slightly fleshy with entire, hairy margins. Leaves are densely clustered at the stem bases. Small leaf pairs occur up the yellowish or creamy flower stems, sometimes widely spaced and decreasing in size on the way up. The plant grows to heights of 40 cm (Mustart, et al, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984).
