Image information

Description

The pale, blue-grey leaf colour of Crassula arborescens have these scattered darker spots scattered over their surfaces. Seen from a distance in bright sunlight the leaves appear almost white and some detail may be missed by the observer, such as the red margins, the almost sessile leaves in equal, opposite pairs.

The plant is both a stem succulent and a leaf succulent, doubly prepared for drought periods to come. Much can be learnt about crassulas in the www.plantzafrica.com article on C. arborescens (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; www.plantzafrica.com).
