Description

Dietes grandiflora, the fairy iris is an evergreen perennial, earning its established position in South African gardens due to characteristics like hardiness, ease of cultivation and profusion of attractive flowers in season.

It reaches heights over 1 m forming large clumps requiring little attention once established. Full sun, semi-shade or dappled shade and limited watering will suit, coping in a variety of soil types.
