Description

The filaments of the Crossyne flava flower stamens are thicker and nearly white at the base where they are bent down, curving up in their maroon upper parts. A filament is about 1 cm long.

In the photo they present dull to dark anthers that were initially maroon. The 2 mm long, oblong anthers produce yellow pollen. The stamens are exserted, the perianth segments so far reflexed that the concept hardly applies (Duncan, et al, 2016; Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
