Description

Some Clivia species have been developed into spectacular hybrids and cultivars for the huge market these flowers have. Internationally they are often found in greenhouses and containers.

Flower colours vary from orange and red to yellow. A dozen or more flowers in one umbel is a common sight. Several species, like the one in picture, have narrower tubular flowers, some with green petal tips.
