The flowers of Gloveria integrifolia seen here resemble pale pink starfish. The five-pointed stars may also be cream or red in colour.
The floral parts on the bisexual flowers are produced in fives, there being five widely spreading stamens above the five petal lobes. Five sepals, small with pointed tips, hide behind the corolla. The superior ovaries, greenish yellow in colour, look like flat discs. They are surrounded by the pale filaments, topped by globular anthers (Coates Palgrave, 2002; iSpot).
